Candle Care — Burn Beautifully

CANDLE CARE — BURN BEAUTIFULLY

We know you’re eager to light your btncl. candle — but before you do, a few intentional steps will help ensure the cleanest, most luxurious burn every time.

THE FIRST BURN

The first burn is crucial. Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel — this is called a full melt pool.
Soy wax has memory, so if the wax doesn’t reach the edges, tunnelling may occur on future burns.

TRIM BEFORE EVERY BURN

Always trim your wick to 6mm before lighting.
This prevents mushrooming, minimises soot, and helps your candle last longer.

If any soot forms on the inside of the vessel, extinguish the flame, let it cool, and gently wipe clean with a damp cloth.

AVOID DRAUGHTS

Never burn your candle near open windows or doors.
Airflow can cause uneven flames, flickering, smoking, and diminished scent throw.

HOW TO EXTINGUISH

Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it again.
Do not blow out your candle — this can cause splatter and excess smoke.

BURN TIME LIMIT

While it’s tempting to keep your candle burning for hours, we recommend a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 hours per session.
Longer burns may overheat the vessel and shorten the overall burn life.

A FINAL NOTE

Even once extinguished, your btncl. candle will continue to release scent.
Let the ritual linger.
